Chef de Partie | Delta Rue
Job Description We're looking for a Chef de Partie to join the Delta Rue kitchen, running a section across grill, wok and larder. You'll work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, cook with seasonal produce and build a broader skill set across sections as part of a supportive, professional team.What You'll Be DoingRunning and maintaining a section of the kitchen (grill, wok or larder) to Delta Rue's standards during servicePreparing mise en place ahead of service and ensuring consistency, quality and presentation across every dishSupporting cross-training across sections (grill, wok and larder) to build a well-rounded, flexible kitchen teamWorking closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef on menu development, specials and seasonal produceMaintaining strict food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards at all timesManaging stock rotation, ordering support and minimising waste on your sectionMentoring and supporting junior chefs and kitchen hands on shiftContributing to a positive, professional and safety-first kitchen culture Qualifications About YouTrade qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or equivalent)Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef ready to step up, ideally in a hotel, luxury or high-volume environmentStrong food safety and HACCP knowledgeEarly morning availability, including weekends and public holidaysA team player with a positive, proactive attitude and pride in consistencyPrevious experience in a 4–5 star hotel or high-end restaurant environment highly regarded Additional Information Why Join Sofitel Sydney Wentworth?
